SALES CONTRACT

Lois E. Kay, hereinafter called “seller’, is the owner of a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi further described as:

Whereas_______________________________ hereinafter called “ Buyer”, desires to purchase the animal described above, therefore, the Seller transfers directly to Buyer the one pet quality Pembroke Welsh Corgi describes under the following warranties and conditions and no other warranties or conditions either expressed or implied:

1.   That the above described animal may for any reason be returned to Seller within 30 days of the time of purchase and Seller will refund the full amount of the purchase price to Buyer provided said animal is returned uninjured, in good health, and free of external parasites. AKC registration papers must be returned with the dog. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, anatomical make-up, appearance and temperament of the above describes dog following said 30 day period. 

2.  That buyer agrees to have the above dog examined by a veterinarian within seven days of purchase to establish that the dog is in good health and to plan a vaccination schedule and heartworm prevention program.

3.  That the above-described animal is being sold as a pet and is not guaranteed to be suitable for breeding purposes or showing in conformation.

4. That Buyer understands that spayed females and castrated males are not eligible for competition in AKC conformation shows, but may be shown in obedience trials and entered in other performance events.  Buyer understands that male dogs with one or both testicles undescended would be neutered for health reasons.  The above-described animal is intact______, spayed ______, castrated ______, has one or two undescended testicles ______.

5.  That Buyer agrees to have the above-described animal spayed/neutered. 

6.  That if Buyer should ever be unable to keep or care for the above-described animal, it will be returned to Seller.  Buyer will provide written instructions to that effect to closest relative and/or executor of estate.  AKC registration and health records will be returned with the animal. 

7.  The above named Buyer and Seller have executed this contract of sale on_____________ in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.
