On the way to the Amish
Road Auction, we saw some folks taking advantage
of the local schoolhouse
to park their buggies. Others parked in a field down the road.
Treadle sewing machines
are all the rage in Lancaster County,
as are little red wagons.
Most every family has at least one. They pile all the little kids
in
the back along with
the necessities for the day and tow them over the sometimes rugged,
muddy landscape.
There are an amazing number of local little red wagon factories!
