Introduction
Pembroke
coat colors come in three varieties: the red (from dark to light,
from
copper to cream); the tris (from red headed to black headed, from
hooded
to saddle) and sables, who seem to fall somewhere in between. And
whereas
the genetic inheritance with regards to red and tri coat colors is
relatively
straight forward and clear, that of the sable coat color or
pattern
is not......which makes it maddening for those of us who love and
would
gladly reproduce the sable color if we could. This site is an attempt
to
address the what's and how's of the sable coat color by pooling our
information
and research. Any input you have will be greatly appreciated.
