Route 1 from the north: Route 1 south to Toughkennamon exit.  Turn left at the end of the ramp (Newark Road) and go straight through two traffic lights.  After the second light, go about one mile and turn right onto Laurel Heights Road.  At the end of Laurel Heights, turn right onto Penn Green Road and go 500 feet.  Turn left on Auburn Road.  It is #254, the third drive on the right.  Fox on sign at end of drive.

From I95 coming from the South:
Bear says the simplest and probably the quickest way to Terenelf is below:
    *I-95 to Maryland exit 109b
*MD 279 north  past the TA truckstop, to the second traffic light (Wawa on left hand side on corner).  Turn left (West) onto MD 277.
*MD 277 to the flashing yellow light. (Keep to the 30mph speed limit on
this road.  I haven't seen anyone pulled over yet, but this is also one of
the few stretches of road upon which I NEVER see anyone speed.) Turn
right (north) onto Appleton Rd.
*Appleton Rd. north  through 3 stop signs (last stop sign intersection
crosses MD 273).  After 3rd sign, continue on Appleton Rd. about 1.7 miles.
JUST BEFORE crossing the state line into PA (marked by small blue "welcome to PA" sign on right and the change in pavement) Elbow Lane will suddenly come up on the right.  Turn right onto Elbow Lane.
*Elbow Lane about 200 yds, then veer left at the fork onto Flint Hill Rd.
*Follow Flint Hill Rd through two stop signs.  At the third stop sign,
turn right onto Good Hope Rd.
*Follow Good Hope Rd. (a windy twisty thing) about 2 miles.  During this time you will go downhill and cross a stream which is part of the White Clay Creek Preserve.  It is marked as such on the right by a wooden sign with
yellow lettering.  After crossing the stream, you will soon begin to go
uphill.  You crest the hill and IMMEDIATELY on the left hand side is a road with a building behind it which looks about the size of a converted one room schoolhouse with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows facing you.  Turn left onto the road (North Bank Rd) in front of it.
*Follow North Bank Rd. through two stop signs.  About a 1/2 of a mile after the second stop sign, North Bank Rd. comes to a "T" in the road where it intersects with Auburn Rd.  Turn right onto Auburn Rd.
*Follow Auburn Rd. about a half mile.  You will drive down into a creek
valley with a earthen bank on your left and a yellow "squiggly arrow" (curvy road) sign on your right.  Lois'  place will be on the left just after the sign; a hidden driveway, 254 Auburn Rd.  Turn left up the drive and you've
made it!

Another way from the south:  I95 north to Route 7 north.  Stay on Route 7 until you pass the intersection for Toute 72.  In about a mile or two, look for Farm Meadows Nursery and turn left in front of it at that light onto Little Baltimore Road.  Stay on Little Baltimore (it turns into Newark Rd.) and turn left onto Laurel Heights Road.  At the end of Laurel Heights, turn right onto Penn Green Road and go 500 feet.  Turn left on Auburn Road.  It is #254, the third drive on the right.  Fox on sign at end of drive.
