Ch. Vennwoods Special Edition
"Woody"

November 15, 1988 - November 9, 2004

Woody at the age of 12 1/2 years at the PWCC of the Garden State
handled by his great friend, Bear Bartzsch.  Bear decided to have
a little fun with him and walked into the Veterans class with Woody
wearing a red bandana and white carnation to match Bear's outfit.  Bear
turned and handed Woody's outfit to me at ringside a la the boxer to his
manager!  Woody still loves to show and makes it a lot of fun for Bear, too.
Afterwards, we had a "family" picture - with bandana and carnation - taken by Perry Phillips.

Specialty 2001 in Veterans class
under Judge Peggy Thomas

Woody (now 12 years old) has a refresher
course before the National 2000.

Used sparingly at stud, Woody sired Ch. Terenelf's Special Delivery, Ch. Terenelf's Special Breeze, Ch. Terenelf's New World Coming, Ch. Foxtale's Tiny Dancer and  Ch. BJ's Woodland Sun God .

The amazing thing about Woody's experience at the National was how much FUN this twelve year old had at the show!  Woody seems to have new life in him even months later.  He gets very excited whenever Bear gets out leashes to practice with the puppies and he just about goes into orbit when he sees Bear packing up the car for a show.  He wants to go so badly.  Therefore, he gets practiced when the puppies do and we are looking for every possible veterans class for him.  This dog has such great heart!  He follows me everywhere and even tho he is very fond of Bear, it is nearly impossible for Bear to lure him from my side.  And every night he follows me up the stairs and hops on my bed to sleep with his head on my shoulder.
