We got our first ribbon!!!  ....and it was soooo fun!  Dylan (Terenelf's Dilly Bar)
and I went to the PWCCP Herding Trials in Westminster MD this weekend for
our first look at ducks and sheepies. Hmmmmmm...thank goodness that it started
with a clinic on Saturday, since we were both lost. LOL  We started with ducks,
which Dylan thought were totally bor-ring. (but that poop in the ring was kinda
tasty, and at least *I* did OK chasing the ducks <sigh>).... and then......

...and then..... Sheepies!  It was almost like there was a "click," and off
he went, with me standing in the middle of the zoominess, calling out to him
"Catch dem sheepies, baybee"...thats not really what sheperds say, is it?
By the time of the instinct testing on Sunday, he had his plan in place and
off he went... we even moved up in a few factors on the grading sheet from
Saturday to Sunday, and ... voila!.... the first leg of a Herding Ch, along
with a nice big ribbon!   Yes, yes.... I know its just on instinct, but its
a ribbon!!! LOL  Yay!

and at home, sister Terenelf's Frosty Paws "Katie" complained "Now, dat is just so unfair that HE gots to go... I'm da bossy one!" Wait til next year, Katie!
